Researches at MIT and BU (Boston University) have used a fluorescent probe to help us observe active brain neurons. These probes can look at multiple brain neurons simultaneity. Bellow is an image captured by this fluorescent probe. Here the neurons are shown. The green are electric impulses hat are created by the neurons. This method is conducted by genetically conducting the neurons with the probe. As the electric impulses of theses neurons increase they glow brighter.

Vaping has become very popular to teens in recent years. JUUL labs a company that makes vapes sold 16.2 million vapes in 2018. Vapes have proven to be very dangerous to the health of young people. Vapes also affect brain development as increase changes of brain disorders such as ADHD, impulse control disorders and increased risk of substance abuse. Vapes contain nicotine. Nicotine mimics Actylcholine an important neurotransmitter in the brain. Nicotine also has an affect on the brains reward system. This reward system is controlled by the release of dopamine. Nicotine affects this pathway causing changes to desires and pleasures.
