The dream of using your brain to control technology has been a long time dream. However one obvious problem with this idea is the large, hard and solid skull bone that protects your brain. However on October, 28 2020 scientists found an new approach to being able to hook your brain up. This new and innovative approach involves mounting electrodes on to an expandable, springy tube. Next this tube is put through blood vessels that leads to the brain. The electrodes fit nicely on the vessel wall from there it was able to sense when a person’s brain sent signals to move. According to an article posted in the Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery 2 patients who were suffering with ALS. These 2 patients were able to use devices similar to the devices explained above to send texts and go online with brain control only. This technology has great potential. Not only can it help people who are suffering from neurological and non – neurological disease it can help everyone make an very interesting future.
