Researchers at MIT make a "snake" that can go inside your brain

A group of researchers at MIT have created a new type of thrombectomy that can be used in your brain. This robot is controlled magnetically. Previous methods of thrombectomy often created friction that could cause problems in the artery causing them to rupture. This new snake like robot features a flexible nickel - titanium alloy spine that helps in flexibility. It is also coated with a paste that features magnetic beads ( this helps in the magnetic control of the robot). This technology make the robot be almost friction less.
